Catalpa Tree Sculpture

This is a Private Art Commission for Lord Stevenson Sculpture Park in Coddenham consisting of one corten steel sculpture and six Catalpa trees.
The group is part of a bigger project developing and defining the big field. The sculpture mirrors the outline of the trees. The ‘canopy’ part of the sculpture has Catalpa leaf patterns cut out of the surface. The leaves are then slightly folded out and in, adding an extra dimension.
